THE ARTIST

As a Canadian-born artist, I've journeyed across the globe, immersing myself in diverse cultures and landscapes, from India to France, Cambodia to South Africa, Vietnam to Colombia, to my current home in the San Francisco Bay Area.

My creative process revolves around a deep exploration of my subconscious and intuition, guided by an unwavering fascination with the power of nature and my surroundings.

I translate this connection into abstract and distorted paintings, inviting viewers to embark on an emotional journey and discover reflections of their own complexities within the intricate layers of my work.

The recognition of my artistic vision has led to numerous opportunities to showcase my work globally. My artworks have secured a place in the Art in Embassies U.S Department of State collection. Noteworthy exhibitions and collections have highlighted my pieces at Playground Global in Palo Alto, Maison 10 Gallery in New York City, Kynkyny Art Gallery in Bangalore, India, and Themes + Projects in San Francisco, among others. Recently, I was honored with a residency at L'AiR Arts in Paris, France, following an eight-year tenure at the highly coveted Cubberley Artist Studio Program in Palo Alto, California.

My paintings have found homes in prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Yale, Hilton Hotels in India, and leading tech companies like Google, Apple, and LinkedIn. Furthermore, my artworks grace notable private collections, spanning from Los Angeles to New York City, and Paris to Bangalore.

Through my art, I guide viewers on a visual and introspective exploration, inviting them to connect with the narratives in each piece.

THE ART

I seek out the essence of the natural world through non-representational forms, colors and textures. In my exploration, I find inspiration in the dynamic interplay of spontaneous expression and the contemplative essence of Zen principles. Using bold brushstrokes, staining and layering the paint on my canvas, forms the depth and movement I am pursuing. The interactions of light and color create the dreamy, ethereal qualities of my meditation paintings. In each piece, I aspire to create a visual journey that transcends boundaries, inviting contemplation and connection.
